Each time the bill amount is entered it is automatically split by PERCENT to each category to equal the amount entered based on the MEMORIZED TRANSACTION'S Percent from the prior saved identical Payee Transaction. Same application for Gas-Heat (Home, Shop, Farm, Office), and Auto Expenses (Business & Personal) , Insurance (Shop, Farm, House, & Home Office), and other categories..Cell Phone, Home Phone, Repairs, etc.
Hope this also can be added to MD2019 updates.

(1) Is there (or can there be) a way to apply a split to multiple transactions using the Batch Change dialog?

(2) Is there a way to import transactions with a split?

For now, I have found a kluge workaround: I use the Murgaa Macro Recorder to record adding a particular split, then apply it one at a time to the transactions I need split. Unfortunately, it is purely a keyboard-mouse playback tool; you can’t add logic to it, so I can’t have it do “all transactions with this amount.” So, I’d still like some way to add splits to multiple transactions at once.

Thanks for a very useful piece of software!

bruceinlouisville
