<p>Just as an FYI...</p>
<p>Key-combo CTRL-W closes all child windows but will not close the parent window. In a Windows environment, Windows will 'chime' if you use CTRL-W on the parent window.</p>
<p>Of course, you have to remember to use the key-combo instead of closing the window(s) in the regular manner. :)</p>

<p>If I remember correctly, the key-combo CTRL-W was developed as the result of requests similar to Ron's.</p>
<p>I like the functionality of the key-combo but an 'Are you sure?' prompt is certainly within the norm.</p>
