Moneydance 2019.3: still no fixes for the same old reporting issues
Hi Moneydance:
Surely, the new upgrade fixed some issues and added some features. However, two report issues that needed fixing for years are STILL unchanged, Check Number Range and Split listing without request.
I have needed the reporting of a check number range for years, and have documented it here on the forum. We have a couple of checkbooks here and I would like to list checks from one or the other, not just over a date or amount range. In the Transaction Filter, you can still only request a single check number, not a range. It's just a database, folks.
The reporting for the Transaction Filter gives you the option of listing the splits, or not. In the NOT mode, if you specify the Account/Category, it automatically lists the splits. So, if you want to see what pay checks were cut, you specify a date range and the Checking account. Instead of listing the check amounts, you get the breakdown of 10 splits. Only problem is that the actual amount of the check is NOT listed. If I wanted the split information, I would check the box.
Disappointed.

I pointed these anomalies out nine years ago, and several times since.
