Saving database
When I Exit Moneydance, I would like it to be changed from automatically saving to allowing me to choose whether I would like to save it or not. Maybe a popup window that would allow me to choose NO to saving the database or to choose YES to saving. Make the default in the popup window to show YES by a mouse click or by pressing the ENTER key which will cause the program to save the database. Right now I have to go into the default archive folder to delete the database I did not want to save.

Hi William,
MD 2011 was the last version to offer the "Save the Changes?' Yes, No, Cancel prompt.
Per the developer of Moneydance, the prompt was deliberately removed in favor of preserving the integrity of the data between the desktop and mobile apps.
There were lengthy discussions on these forums back when, with regards to the wisdom of removing the prompt. Alas, the developer declared that it is gone for good.
It's one of the reasons that I still use MD 2011.
