Sum of selected Transactions

I would like to bring this feature request up again. This is probably the most missed feature of Quicken for me! I almost want to scream every time I have to pull out my calculator and add up to 20 transactions or more on a calculator. It was so easy on Quicken and it HAS to be an easy feature to add in on Moneydance. This has come up multiple times in the past under separate requests, so I want to bring them all up at once to try and bring this up your priority list. PLEASE consider adding this to your next release!!! Thanks for your consideration.

   I agree, the selected transaction sum and avg is a feature that MD should have and should be easy to add. If you don't use Tags for anything, there is an awkward workaround for totals and subtotals by selecting all transactions involved, batch change the Tag to a unique name, then run the transaction report filtering by Tag and subtotaling as needed. Then you run batch Tag change again back to null. Yeah, awkward, but saves some calculator time. But, your absolutely correct, this feature should have been a part of MD many years ago.

   This feature is in the latest release, I do not recall when it was included.

   Thanks, that's great news! I am on 2022.2 build 4069, and can't see how! I expect I am being blind/dim, or maybe you mean the latest preview build?

   I am away from my Mac at the moment so can only look at full Moneydance on my iPad remotely via the Screens app....but I haven't had any trouble doing anything in Moneydance this way before.

   Thank you Moneydance for finally including this feature!

   If you can also have this work on the list of items when you do a search, that would be icing on the cake!

    It does work if the search is within one account, just not if searching across multiple accounts.

    As you say that would be the icing on the cake.

    In addition I have an extension which will work on older versions and also for investment accounts. Extension menu. Total_selected_transactions.
