Credentials auto entered by MD
When pushing the download button in a bank register that does not support direct connect It goes to the bank website where a window opens asking for downlooad credentials. It would be very convenient if MD could remember the credentials and insert them automatically.

Hi Jerry,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
Which version and build of Moneydance are you using?
To check, open Moneydance and select Help --> About Moneydance (or Moneydance --> About Moneydance on a Mac) where the version and build number will be displayed.
Are you able to confirm the name of the bank you wish to connect with?
Within Moneydance, the option to remember your passwords is available for automatic downloads, when selecting the “Store Online Passwords in File”.
After enabling this, you'll need to enter your login credentials once more before they're stored.

Hi Maddy,
I'm not having a problem. It's a suggestion.
1. Any bank that does not support direct connect, when pushing the download button at the top of the register. asks for the user name and password to be entered before the down load begins.
2. Banks that support direct connect downloads the latest account activity immediately as the credentials are entered automatically. I would like to see MD remember the user name and password for all banks whether they support direct connect or not.

I'm a fellow user.
The inbuilt browser is currently in Beta and has limited capability. It is my understanding that the long term intention is to be able to automate the whole login, download and importing of the data into Moneydance, to give a similar download capability to Direct Connect while using a bank's Internet Banking website and thus be able to provide the capability to those banks in the U.S. that do not support Direct Connect as well as many institutions outside of the U.S. where Direct Connect does not exist.
