From my search, this topic was closed in 3/2018. Is the concept of a full Moneydance product for IOS still open? If so, when? If not, why not?

    Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Currently, the mobile app is an add on to the main desktop program, and only has very basic functions like viewing and editing transactions.
Regarding the app update, I'm afraid I can't supply any information on prospective release dates. We have a policy of not creating release dates that we are then held to, we think this policy results in higher quality releases. I can say that the next update for the app will include substantial changes, and we'll be sure to notify our customers as soon as this becomes available.

We do also have long-term plans to do have a full version for iOS and Android, however this version will be a little while. We have already setup the syncing infrastructure for it, but an app like Moneydance is large enough that there are a lot of details to work out still.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have further questions or need any assistance.

No, this is not helpful and I need further assistance.

I am currently on a MAC. I think Apple has reduced support for OSX for a very long time. My primary application on MAC without a migration path to IOS is Moneydance. My question remains, "If so, when? If not, why?”

Please don’t talk around it. Sometimes it is better to have a published deadline. Everyone develops expectations.
