Totalling of Stock Holdings

Having looked deeply into my MD I cannot find an easy way to get the total holdings of a particular stock which I hold on several platforms.I can get a good report of the individual holdings on each platform and a total of the cost, gains and balance over the platforms. BUT there is no total for the number of stocks held on the platforms. The only way to do this is to get a calculator out and add up the individual holdings.
Surely this is a very easy thing to program in to get the total stock holdings, I hope you can help.

   Hi Stuart,
   Invested in a new Stock today and it would not show on quote loader or Stockglance. To cut a long story short I upgraded to latest MD version. Went to your MD Python scripts page and followed the instructions.
   I drag and dropped the .mxt file, installed ignoring the warnings then restarted MD. On the Extension tab the Extract Data was shown but clicking it doesn’t do anything. I’ve reinstalled again, same result. So I’m left without that fabulous Stockglance page of yours which I’ve found so useful.
   Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong?

   I suspect you have not installed the preview version (build 3065).. Get here:

   https://infinitekind.com/preview

   Then install extract_data again....
