Reports & Printing
I have downloaded the trial version and have successfully transferred my Quicken data into Moneydance. I don't see how to produce reports. As a start, I would like to print transactions over a date range. Then I would like to also restrict by accounts. I must be missing something.

OK, I found how to generate reports but can't seem to make them print. I am on Ubuntu Linux 8.04 and have an Optra E310 on a Windows box on the LAN. When I try to print from Moneydance, nothing happens. The Optra is the default printer and all my other applications work OK, for example, OpenOffice. Any advice?

Hi Dean
There is a known bug in the Java distribution that is packaged with Ubuntu 8.04. This bug prevents printing from all Java apps. I also run Moneydance on my laptop with Ubuntu 8.04 and fortunately there is a know work around for this issue.
Click System->Administration->Printing Select your printer from the list on the left Click the "Job Options" tab From the "Orientation" select box, select "Portrait"
I believe this problem is resolved with later versions of Java.
If you have any further problems I am here to help.
Sincerely Ben Spencer

Hello Ben:
Thanks for the response. Does this mean I can't print in landscape format? Should I try to get a later version of Java?
