NEW TRANSACTION icon
New user - finally moved away from QUICKEN !!!
When I go into my checkbook registry, in order to create a NEW TRANSACTION, the ICON to do that is way up in the RIGHT Corner. However after clicking on that, the Entry field is way to the bottom (of course). IMHO, This functionally doesn't make sense to me. Too much real estate to move around. Better idea:
- Allow TABBING to Create a Transaction automatically & create FOCUS on the entry field (date)
or
- Move the NEW TRANSACTION icon to the bottom of the screen, next to where the transaction will be entered.
or
- Just create a NEW TRANSACTION field upon clicking on a Registry account. If I don't intend to generate a New Transaction, I can just click ESC to cancel it.
Thanks for considering. I'm liking your product and glad to have found it.

Hi naughty_pines,
I tend to agree with your assessment of the counter-productive placement of the 'New Transaction' button.
Key-combo CRTL-N has always been my 'go-to' option.
