Please consider alllowing "folding" of accounts in the Side Bar. For example, if I have several accounts at MyBank. Savings, Checking, and XmasFund, I'd like to organize them like this: MyBank:Savings, MyBank:Checking, and MyBank:Xmas. Then in the Side Bar, I'd like to be able to collapse MyBank, so that I only see the total funds at MyBank. If I expand MyBank, then I can see the balances of the individual accounts at MyBank.

    Hi Terry,

What you are describing sounds like you want to create a Parent Bank account and include your Savings, Checking and Xmas account as Child accounts.

This can already be done in Moneydance.

    Create the 'My Bank' account.
Make it the Parent account of the other 3 accounts.
You do so in the Account properties form of each of the 3 other accounts.
(while viewing one of the other 3 accounts, go to menu bar > Account > Edit Account > select the 'Parent Account') Repeat for the remaining accounts.

If I recall correctly the only thing the Parent/Child relationship does not allow for is a collapsing of the hierarchy.

My suggestion involved folding of the account hierarchy in the Side Bar
    (read the subject).
