Enhancement Request: Up/Down keys that actually work in Categories list
Hello,
I would like to strongly recommend, what should be, a fairly simple enhancement. When you are entering a transaction, and you get to the "Category" field in the register, as you start typiing (e.g., "Taxes") the Category list opens and shows you multiple options. The interesting thing here is (as you can see in the screenshot I attached) as I start typing "Taxes" Moneydance doesn't show me "Taxes" first, it shows me "Automobile: Taxes."
Now, I SHOULD be able to hit my down arrow and select, "Taxes" but I cannot. The arrow keys don't work in this dropdown. So I keep having to put my hand BACK on my mouse, and selecting the actual category I want. It should also show me the most relevant suggestions first, which as you can see in the screenshot, should be "Tax: but again, it does not.
This is an annoyance more than anything, but an annoyance nonetheless.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the suggestion for improving Moneydance! There's an existing ticket in our ticketing system with your suggestion, so I've attached it to this discussion and the developers will be looking into it.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
