I'd like the ability to bulk change the Action in the investment register view. I need to change a ton of Buy to BuyXfr as I don't use Moneydance to track contributions from my gross income to my 401k. This results in a negative cash balance n my 401k until I go change the Buy's to BuyXfr...one at a time. Please provide this functionality.

I don't know why this was closed. This seems to continue to plague my ability to manage history of investments I import.

The software closes any discussion if it has not had a posting in about 3 months, so it is automatic.

Batch change cannot work in investment accounts due to the way the accounts work. Different actions turn on and off different fields in the record it can make some mandatory for example and in other cases if you have an entry in one field and you change the action type that data will be removed. In your case changing a Buy to a BuyXfr turns on the transfer field and makes it mandatory to choose an account. As Batch Change can only change the value in one field it cannot handle the change that would be necessary here.

You would need a new tool that can handle all the dependencies in Investment accounts.
