Split transactions
Would it be possible to have a "Split transaction" option in catagories, such that, from an amount spent, it could be allotted to various categories.

I'm a fellow user.
Doing a split in the category register is a bit late in the process, as what you would need to do is transfer funds to another category from the category the funds are already in.
I would suggest in the account you make the payment from in the category field select "Split" then enter each of the splits there. The result should be a total for the amount of the payment, and with the amount split between the categories you have allocated.
