More flexible displays

I have a couple of suggestions. Both have to do with the fact that I have several investment accounts - my two IRAs and my wife's IRA, my ordinary investment account and hers. If I start accounts for grandchildren, it will be even more difficult to manage without the changes I hope to see.

The first is to allow the portfolio views to be organized by date, number of shares, and current value. I often want to be able to make decisions which depend upon the relative size of an investment.

Another is to allow the portfolio to be displayed by individual investment as well as by account. I also have some investments which are included in different accounts. It is impossible to see the total investment in a single security on the portfolio page if there are separate accounts involved.

Take a look at my StockGlance2020 extension. Download and instructions here:

    Stuart,

Thanks for your reply. I recall that you have helped me earlier. That is
probably where I got the idea that moneydance could be modified. I'll
take a look, even though my programming experience ended with Fortran more
    than a few years ago.

I've used quicken for at least 20 years, and I'll never go back, but I'm
    still adjusting.

    Thanks again,

     Bill
