Instructions on the same page. You will need to be on MD2021 preview build 3034. It allows you to see all on screen, and/or extract to csv file:

Taking a look at your page, it says I need Moneydance version 2021 build 2012 onwards. I just downloaded and installed moneydance today and appear to only have version 2006. Do I need some sort of beta version of MD to be able to run your script?

CanSavertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-11T22:57:35Z2021-02-11T22:57:35ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

Grab the preview from here.
And if so, do you know what version I would have if I downloaded it today?

CanSavertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-11T23:17:53Z2021-02-11T23:17:53ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

? No, you have 2006. But if you want the latest build 3034 (and you do) then use the preview link given above.

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-12T00:00:36Z2021-02-12T00:00:36ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

I think the real issue is "you downloaded and installed moneydance today and it is 2006'

Did you mean you downloaded 2021 (2006) ? If so, then Stuart's comment of getting the latest preview applies, but if you somehow found an ancient copy, that's a problem.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-12T00:04:12Z2021-02-12T00:04:13ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

Thanks. I should have written build 2006.
You have MD2021 - build 3034.... Great....

Download the signed version of the extract is here:
https://infinitekind.com/app/md/extensions/extract_reminders_csv.mxt

To install, drag the .mxt file onto the Moneydance sidebar - or Extensions>Manage extensions>add from file....

Once installed, Extensions>extract_reminders_csv.

Let me know if ok?

(not support, just a fellow user)

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-12T17:43:52Z2021-02-12T17:43:53ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

Thanks for the followup. Just getting back to this now. As a new user, it's impressive to see how much people are willing to help others.

So I've installed it and indeed it does what it's intended to do but I'm sorry to say that it doesn't work for me. I can see this level of information having its use, but for someone that just wants a quick list of everything that's coming up over the next few months it takes a lot of brain power to parse. There is simply so much information that it's very hard to pull out the few bits of information that are relevant to me.

Part of it is that I have a few reminders with several splits. Your tool gives me all of the split detail that I need to ignore. And for those that repeat, I need to look carefully and figure out when they would re-occur. The other issue is that the columns relevant to me are far to the right of the date, which adds to the difficulty of pulling out the information I need.

The simplicity of the list on the summary page is exactly what I need. I just need the option to see more than 1 month out. If MD would give a 1 year option, I'd be very happy.

Perhaps I need to dust off my programming skills and produce something that would work for me. I've never used python and it's been a lot of years since I've done any serious programming.

CanSavertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-12T19:28:12Z2021-02-12T20:27:21ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

It would be a doddle (if you have any programming skills) to edit my script and make it simpler for your needs... Email me and perhaps I'll edit it for you..:

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-13T17:33:13Z2021-02-13T17:33:13ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

Preview version of list_future_reminders extension attached (unzip and then drag and drop the .mxt file onto the MD left sidebar to install.. Accept the signing warnings).. Happy to receive any feedback and whether I should publish this for all?

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-13T19:28:22Z2021-02-13T19:28:22ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

Is it best to reply to you here or via email?

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Two things I noticed.

First: it isn't date sorting correctly. The tool is displaying dd/mm/yyyy and appears to be doing an alphabetic sort on the date. For example 01/11/2021 is coming before 31/03/2021 because 01 comes before 31. I wondered if that was because of my preferences set to dd/mm/yyyy. I changed to yyyy.mm.dd, closed MD and reopened. While my registers changed date format, your tool isn't respecting the preference change, which is the second problem.

Is there something I'm not doing right to be able to sort in date order and/or for the tool to respect my date preference setting?

And once this is all working, I would think others would be interested in this and would publish for all.

CanSavertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-13T19:31:04Z2021-02-13T19:31:04ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

Hi CanSaver. Thank you very much, Stuart for this extension that is certainly going to benefit me!

CanSavertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490292792021-02-14T15:40:20Z2021-02-14T15:40:20ZList of *all* upcoming reminders

+1 - My pleasure; thanks.
