additionally.. the option to add them to groups would be even more useful.

RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491828162021-05-07T13:01:02Z2021-05-07T13:01:02ZMemorized reports - sort list in order

Thank you for your suggestion, Roney!

For the time being, if you wish to sort your memorized reports list in a way that is more functional for your needs, you could rename each report by adding a number before its name.

Within Moneydance, navigate to Memorized Reports> select Report from the List->Change Name-> OK.

Finally, as per your request I have created a suggestion ticket (#5517) and the development team will look into it.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Thanks for the update. However, I dont think this is working. Per your suggesion - i added the number 10 - for the TAX reports in the screenshot ( starting as TAX ). However, some of them went up the list.. but some went down the list even ! I'm not sure I understand how it works. I will eventually try and get a numbering system in place to try and group related reports together.. but this one example makes it sound like I am fighting a losing battle already...

RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491828162021-05-07T13:21:48Z2021-05-07T13:21:48ZMemorized reports - sort list in order

Hi Maddy - a screenshot to explain my earlier statement.
Sorry for the oversight in not sorting this list! The change is already made and tested, so the next preview/stable update will have the memorised reports and graphs sorted alphabetically.

Thanks,
I see preview 4068 is released - which includes this update. Anyone downloaded and use this already ? Keen to know that it is good to use..

RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491828162022-03-24T07:17:32Z2022-03-24T07:17:32ZMemorized reports - sort list in order

I am also keen to know about any major bugs in 4068
Also, any chance of collapsable folders in reports as suggested before. Would save scrolling through loads of them to find the one you are looking for.

tonyttag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491828162022-05-19T14:07:29Z2022-05-19T14:07:29ZMemorized reports - sort list in order

Hello Sean,
Ref this update on the Memorized reports. The reports are indeed now in sorted order which is great - however, the UPDATE function does not work.

I am trying to edit a memorized report. I click EDIT to make changes, added additional source accounts to be included - and want to save/update this report. Only option is to finish the changes - press OK to get the updated report generated.

Then, I click on MEMORIZE. Here, I've tried two methods as below - but both dont work:

method 1. click on the arrow beside the name to bring the existing list - select one and I click UPDATE. When i exit and go back to reports - the change was not saved.

method 2. I re-type the name manually ( exactly as earlier ) and press OK. It says MEMORIZED ITEM EXISTS - OVERWRITE IT ? I click YES - then DONE to exit from the report - then close the report edit page ( cancel works the same ) and get back to Moneydance. And I go back - and yet again the changes are not saved.

Please can you fix these issues.
Several additional suggestions are given - but this one is rather urgent please.

RJron
