Quicken has a feature in its reminders to "estimate" the future payments based on past payments. I've never found the feature useful.

What I would find useful along that line, though, is the ability for a reminder to calculate the future payment based on the most recently reconciled balance.

If that balance is zero, and the account balance is also zero, it might be an apporpriate conidtion to eliminate the reminder from the reminder calendar, such as is suggested by Matthew at https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/general-questions/100648-conditional-reminders

    just a user,

Have you fooled around with the Money ForeSight extension? If you maintain the reminders with reasonably accurate amounts, it will graph your expected balances in the future

No I haven't even heard of or yet noticed the ForeSight extension. But it doesn't sound interesting to me. I leave predicting the future to the climate scientists and the mediums.
