<p>You can create that report for yourself using Tags.<br>
Just add a Tag to the last transaction when you reconcile. (For instance, R, or Reconciled, etc)<br>
Then run the the "Income and Expenses, Detailed " report set to All dates, All Accounts, all Categories, and Filter by your TAG name. You will get a report that shows the Date and Account for those transactions you marked.</p></div>mhoggietag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-21T18:34:35Z2021-05-21T18:34:35ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>Thanks mhoggie - this might work as a temp solution i suppose.</p>
<p>Whilst giving this a try - i notice that several of my entries contain tags that were entered by mistakes. Almost all of them were entered during split transactions and in the wrong field. I need to find a way to clear those tags out first now.</p>
<p>The list is quite big and is freezing up. I tried editing some transactions in the hope that it would remove them from the list - but it looks like the tags remain and are not removed (?)</p>
<p>From a more long term and proper fix - I belive this is a feature that need to be added - and can be added quite easily perhaps.</p>
<p>PS. Just seen a new update - version 2021.1 build 3069 ( I was on build 3066 ). Will update asap</p></div>RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-21T18:38:35Z2021-05-21T18:38:35ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>The find and replace extension can help you find and edit tags..</p></div>Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-21T18:49:36Z2021-05-21T18:49:36ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>Thanks Stuart. I sure will try this soon..</p></div>RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-21T19:12:55Z2021-05-21T19:12:55ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>Removed all old tags using FIND & REPLACE extension. However, they seem to (somehow) still be tagged to the specific Income/Expenses-Detailed report selection. I have managed to deselect them - run a report - and now they are gone. Just FYI - as something wrong in that behaviour.</p>
<p>Will temporarily try and work with the 'RECONCILED MMM-YY' tag - which I should remove as well i guess.</p>
<p>Appreciate your assistance with the suggestions - mhoggie and Stuart.</p></div>RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-21T20:37:37Z2021-05-21T20:37:37ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>just a user,</p>
<p>Remember you will need to use just a single name for your Reconcile Tag that will be the same on all accounts. So you only have to filter the report for that single name and memorize the report for regular usage.</p></div>mhoggietag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-22T11:40:37Z2021-05-22T11:40:37ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>hmm.. the report i need is for the ones that are NOT reconciled - so I can go ahead and reconcile them. Dont think that is possible here ?</p></div>RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-22T13:47:51Z2021-05-22T13:47:51ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>just a user,</p>
<p>My thought is that at some point all of your accounts have been reconciled at some point. Probably when you initially set them up. I have some accounts with very little activity so I'm not concerned if they get reconciled frequently. Others I always want to reconcile at least monthly. Since most services offer an email notice when a statement is available I usually use that as a notice to reconcile. If you add a tag by default when you first set up an account in MD and every time you reconcile, then you'll have a history of reconcile activity you can manage.</p></div>mhoggietag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-22T13:51:22Z2021-05-22T13:51:22ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>yes - the monthly email service is also what prompts me to reconcile. But these are usually for bank accounts and credit cards only. However, I use the same practice to also reconcile deposits, investments, certain cash statements only, etc. But yes.. it is a temp workaround for now i suppose.. but the report of unreconciled items would be the right way to go I'm sure you will agree</p></div>RJrontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/492090082021-05-22T15:13:00Z2021-05-22T15:13:00ZReconcile date for accounts<div><p>just a user,</p>
<p>Yeah, that would be a nice feature to see on the main screen. Just a number of reconciled transactions listed by each account on the left panel, then clickable to show the listing. There are a couple of built in ways to look for uncleared transactions, Transaction Filter Report and edit-Advanced Search. But I find the uncleared filter does not seem to work accurately for some reason. Yet the Find and Replace Extension does seem function accurately and you can copy and paste the output to a spreadsheet.</p></div>mhoggie
