Add Ticker Symbol to Display

I know that I can manually edit every security that comes along, but since MD has the name and symbols of securities already stored, it would be great to offer an option to display the ticker symbol alongside or instead of the security name. In recent years many of my investments have changed to ETFs, which often have long, similar-sounding names. Additionally, the character limits of OFX/general web programming seem to cause brokerages to name ETFs slightly differently in downloaded transactions or statements.

When trying to reconcile individual transactions, sometimes I have to exit the register, examine the security, write down its ticker symbol, then return to the register to be sure I'm using the correct security. This came to light again when I had to make another 28 manual entries to transfer 14 securities from one existing brokerage account to another. I didn't realize how many "ISHARES CORE TRUST MSCI EAFE etc etc etc" securities I owned until trying to reconcile that transfer. It would have been easier if I were able to see "(IJV)" at the end of the security name dropdown in MD.

Again, I know the ability to manually make this happen exists, but it would seem to be a lot easier to allow the option programmatically.

FYI. The extract-data extension. Option stockglance2020 will show you a consolidated qty of share ownership of each share across all accounts.

I could use, and vote for, this feature also.
