Move the "New Transaction" button to the bottom left-hand side of the register

I wonder if there is a way to bring the "New Transaction" (screenshot 1) icon to the bottom left-hand side of the register. Better yet, why not keep the register ready for a new entry with a blank field, as Quicken does (screenshot 2)?

It is a pain to have to move the mouse all the way to the top right-hand side of the window every time I need to add a new transaction manually.

Thank you.

Also if you have auto-create new transactions set on, after the first transaction is entered it should just give you another entry pane automatically

Hi DWG, I noticed the empty entry pane. Sadly it is not there all the time, but I guess I will get used to it. Thank you.

    Hi Jay Jr.

Make sure under FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – PREFERENCES – GENERAL tab ensure AUTO-CREATE NEW TRANSACTION box is ticked.

On clicking ENTER to enter a transaction a new transaction line will open. This process continues, a new line opening as you enter the last until you click Esc (escape).

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Derek,

Yes, I had "Auto-create new transaction" box ticket and I confirm it works. Thank you.

I prefer that the lower register area was reserved for multiple balances (instead of the balance drop down which does not stick), especially a custom set balance period/dates. The existing new transaction button is always visible and, with the auto-function, works well enough for me.
