Category matching wildcards

Would it be possible to use wildcards for automatic category matching. The system learns about prior matches, but when the vendor alters the description (e.g., Dropbox descriptions are of the form "Dropbox" followed by unique string (no space).

Ideally, one could view/edit the matching database, and insert a trailing asterisk at the appropriate spot (e.g., "Dropbox*").

Thanks,

Andrew

I would really like this feature too. While we're at it, unless there's some UI for managing the matching already that I haven't discovered, it would be nice to be able to see what values are remembered as matches so that they can be culled if desired.

Yes, I agree. This is a commonly-used feature in QuickBooks.
