Split balance
Hello!
Let's say I'm in the splits window, and I'm building my listing of transaction splits. Everything is fine, then I decide to cancel the split process and enter everything under a single category.
Problem: Whatever figure happened to be remaining in the Balance field in the split window carries over when you're switched back out of the split screen and into the register.
This has caused me a lot of grumbling off and on. I've hosed up my balance more than once. Sure, I know I could be paying more attention, but isn't there some way that figure can revert to the original charge amount?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

I've posted a similar issue that the split, when done by a "similar payee" action on an odd number will recalculate the register total to an even number (since the previous split was 50/50) - very frustrating to encounter on reconciliation.
