Memorize Report
I change settings in report. When I click memorize report, new settings are not being saved. Have tried save and replace currwent report. Have also tried the button that shows Update. Have tried under new name. When I move to another report and then back to saved report, It stll shows original report

I am adding Information to this discussion. I recently went through all reports trying to save new settings. They all seem to work except for the predefined one Transactions Filter. It will not save to a new name or existing name still shows original settings. I need this report because it seems to be the only one that can subtotal by category. I amselecting checkbox with categories only to retrieve categories from All accounts. I caould select my categoriy under account section, But then I coujld only save by one categoriy. It will save this way. It just wont save if I select category box only

On an aside one of the primary reports that total by category are the two Income and Expense reports.
It would be worthwhile stating the version and build number of Moneydance you are using as there have been some problems with the Transaction Filter report.

Income and Expence won't work for me as I need detail transactions by
category. My version is 2022.2 (4060) and Have tried 2022.3 (4072) Still
not saving. Attaching screenshot showing Category box checked and 1
category selected. I save (memorize or Update) Tried both. Once I click on
another report and Go back to my saved report it still shows old settings

The following is from build 4074
Moneydance 2022.3 build 4074 (Fri, 29 Apr 2022 01:00:00)
• Allow downloading of Moneydance+ transactions from multiple different source accounts, for example PayPal and a bank account
• Case insensitive sorting in window prompting the matching of local securities to online counterparts
• Un-break extensions that override the built-in methods
• Save and restore specified categories in the Transaction Filter report settings
As Moneydance 2022.4 build 4087 is now the latest stable and preview build I would suggest trying that.
I would also be curious as to what details of the transactions the Income and Expense (Detailed) Report are not showing.
