Reporting options
Hi,
Is there a way to add additional features to reports? For example, it's hard to a year's worth of monthly data to fit on one page as all amounts include current and two decimals. Is it possible to just list reporting currency at the top and suppress decimals in each column?
Likewise, the budget reporting doesn't seem to handle nested subcategories. For example, I like to budget a total for a broard category (say education), but then itemize actual expenses by subcategory so I can see the details. For the report, it would be much easier to have collapsable fields, so I could see total education expense vs. budget, and then expand to see details of the actuals.
Alternatively, is there an easy way to export to excel in structured format (the copy/paste) doesn't work very well and requires a tremendous amount of reformatting every time. And then make reporing templates there?
Overall, I really like MoneyDance (especially multi currency support), but the reporting/budgeting options still seem like they could be much stronger.
