REPORTING!!!
Want better reporting? You must vote for ticket 1999 in the
trak. Currentl only got 3 votes! No votes seems to = little
likelihood of implementation!
Can I vote more than once I wonder?

Hi,
seems to me that you can only vote once per ticket... btw. this is a new functions which means that older (possibly as important) requests have zero votes.
And please keep in mind that votes are just an additional level for a ticket's priority - even tickets with many contributors may not necessarily get realized. If you are used to software development you may know a theory called "Parento Rule". It helps to decide on which enhancements are possible to implent with a restricted amount of ressources.
But all in all, please don't hesitate to vote for other tickets too - and there are even many more concerning reporting functionallity!

Yes, more flexible generic reporting would probably solve many people's problems. You could have less report types, so long as each was more flexible.
I would like to be able to select multiple accounts (and/or) define a grouping of accounts so that I could run "entities" within one file and view the full situation in one go.
I don't want to have to create separate categories for each. EG: bank charges are bank charges whichever account they are being paid out of. I don't want to have to create bank charges-entity1, bank charges-entity2 etc.
I look forward to the promised im[proved reporting in next release, but unfortunately it may not be soon enough for us (I like the look of moneydance otherwise).

I'm not sure how to vote - and I'd love to know which reports are being considered. I need balances/I&E over time - with columns for months/years
I'd also like to see exportable reports: eg into a spreadsheet for further calculations, rather than needing to input it all first. That said, I bought the software only today, so chances are there are current features I haven't discovered. Looking forward to the new manuals!
