Need a "Year" Filter Button
I note that the topic of a "Last Year" filter button has shown up a number of times in the forums. But, somehow, this filter button has never made it to the product.
At tax preparation time, such a filter would be very useful to be used in combination with the Search field.
But a "Last Yea" button may be too specific. Perhaps a "Year" filter button in which the user can specify the year to use. It would appear that a majority of the logic behind such a button would be available in the "This Year" filter.
Another means would be to allow the user to modify the filter buttons to add new filters.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
Running the current version, when you look at the register heading, next to the '60 Days' tab, you should see a downwards arrow. When you click on the arrow, you should reveal the Edit Customer Filter where you can customize your register as you wish.
It might be useful referring you to this article of the Knowledge base called Sort and Filter the Register.

If you have not used the tab it will say "Custom" This tab is to the right of the "This Year" Tab.
As Maddy said click on the down arrow next to this and you will be given some choices, you could select 365 days to give a rolling 12 month period.

don't understand why IK would completely disregard logical suggestions for improvement.
rcmcminn is spot on and the addition of "Last Year" and "Year" would both be welcome, as others have said.
basic functions that have eluded addition since I've been using MD, 2011.

Second what fritzlangiam said. The Edit Custom Filter is not able to get "Last Year" (in this case, 1/1/2022 - 12/31/2022).
I really wish IK could help make such small improvements

A "between" option for the custom filter could meet a number of the suggested filter options.

Yes, a "to - from" or between dates option in the custom filter would be great. In fact, the date range filter of the Ratios extension already has this. Why not make all the date range filters in MD like the Ratios extension filter?
