Transaction Filter report: Memo filter should search memos in splits themselves, too
I have split transactions when I purchase gift cards that I use for business purchases.
- The ~ top-level transaction may have a memo to keep track of the vendor for the gift card, e.g. "Home Depot"
- The child/split transactions are ultimately used to track which "jobs" spend from the gift card is used for.
For example:
12/1/22 <gift card vendor name> Category=Job Expense memo="Home Depot" amount=$200
Split 1: $100 memo="job 1"
Split 2: $100 memo = "job 2"
When I run the Transaction Filter report with a filter of "memo= job 2"... the above sample transaction does not appear at all (even the 2nd split).
If I run a Transaction Filter report with a filter of "Category=Job Expense" it does list the above sample transaction including the one with memo "Job 2".
My request/suggestion would be that searching for memo not look only at the ~ top-level transaction. (Unless I'm going about build the report all wrong in the first place :-) )

Just another data point I noticed:
1) If I search for "Job 2" in the Memo field, I get a list of only non-split transactions where Memo indeed does contain "Job 2"; it does NOT also include [separate] split transactions where a specific split may have "Job 2", too.
2) If I instead search for "Job 2" in the Description field, I get a list of only split transactions where Memo (and NOT Description) contains "Job 2" ... but I don't also get those transactions from #1 above.
Very odd
