still, all these years later, since 2011. MD doesn't have a basic function of 99% computer apps, undo /redo.
Not just a per txn function.

Lets' say you enter the wrong number or c&p the wrong thing into any field, description, payment deposit, or memo.
The choices are: backspace, mark all/delete or tab round the entry to get back to what one wants to delete and use the delete key.
Instead a simple CmdZ toggle like nearly every other app in existence would clear any field.

Why IK continues to be so stubborn in logical development of what users ask for is beyond me.
Not to say that I know anything about coding, but is there a reason why this hasn't happened or several other suggestions that users have made?

I do not know why it could not work within the transactions you are currently entering, assuming that data is being buffered in memory, however I do not see it working going back to previous transactions and that is because of syncing.

Syncing means that previous transactions would be written to disk already and be propagating to other systems already, which means you need a new transaction to modify or delete previous transactions.

nothing to do with previous txns.
nothing to do with save and sync.
only to do with the txn one is entering.
