Prior to moving to MD I'd been using Quicken for some 30-ish years so I cumulatively have tons of "accounts", especially credit cards.
Whenever I have to do maintenance on any "current" account I have to scroll through a relatively long list to select the account I need.

Not a big deal to have to scroll through a long list, but I'm hoping it's be easy enough to have a simple check-box on that Edit Accounts page to hide the inactive accounts.

    Hi gbonawitz

To make an account inactive highlight the account in the Side Bar, list on the left and tick the Inactive box under TOOLS – ACCOUNTS – double click subject account – EDIT. This remove the account from the Summary page.
Right click on the account in the Side Bar and select “Remove from Side Bar”. to add an account back in click the “+” at the bottom of the Side Bar.

    Hope this helps.

I suspect the user is looking for a toggle type switch to turn the display of inactive accounts on or off.

    Hi. Dwg is correct.

I'm familiar with making accounts inactive and hiding them from the side
bar, and have already done so.

Since you obviously have a flag for tracking such accounts I was hoping
that an update could default to using that and - on the Edit Accounts
window - not displaying those accounts (unless I check a " show inactive
accounts" checkbox) would be a low hanging fruit thing.

Please excuse any typos or brevity
