Record Next Occurance

I rely heavily on the reminders features of this wonderful app. I have scheduled transactions scattered throughout the month, that all auto-commit the day before payday.

However, my company has a couple of months where they pay me a week early (Christmas and January) and when this happens, I need to go to each transaction reminder in the calendar and click "Record Next Occurance" on each one for the whole moneth to get them to appear in the relevant account. One some days the list drops off the bottom of my screen and I cannot see the reminder to click it.
I know I could just set them all to commit a week early, but it would be lovely if there was a "Record next accourance" for ALL reminders for that day.

Thanks
Rob

    just a user,

    You might just try adding an additional reminder for those months where they record a week earlier. Then limit the date range of the normal reminder to exclude the Dec and Jan months. You could also create 12 individual annual reminders for each month and set them each to specific dates you need. l think you should be able to set every thing up to do it all automatically with multiple reminders.

    Does the list future reminders extension help? Double click an entry to record next occurrence. ??

    @mhoggie

    I think the answer is just to push all the remonders forward enough to cover all variations in pay date. I was only enquiring / suggestiing if a bulk manual method was possible. Thanks .

    @Stuart
    I've just installed to take a look. It will certainly help with the reminders that drop off the bottom of the screen on the context menu. So thank you for this suggestion.

    I would still have to manually record the "next occurance" on 45 individual reminders though.

    Hi Rob,

    OK, I liked your request.. So I have added this into the latest list_future_reminders extension... It's on my page:

    https://yogi1967.github.io/MoneydancePythonScripts/

    Direct download here:
    https://github.com/yogi1967/MoneydancePythonScripts/raw/master/list...

    download, unzip, it contains a .mxt file. Double click this file to install..

    Right click a reminder on the DATE you want to auto-record. Select Record all next occurrences for same date...

    I've tested it... But please File/Export Backup the first time, just in case any problems.

    Let me know?

    Good morning Stuart

    Apologies for the late reply. For some reason I couldn't get onto the forum
    and the reset password link is not working, so replying via email

    I have tested the update to the extension and it works brilliantly. I have
    never really used that extension either and it looks really useful.

    Thank you so much for implementing this feature into it.

    Rob

    I would like the option in reminders to record all reminders not already recorded in a particular month.
    I have them all to X days early and reconcile and move money at end of the month but if I'm going away and I want to reconcile and move money early
