Attachments from scanner or clipboard

Hi,

I'm evaluating MoneyDance as a replacement for Quicken for personal banking and investment. I use attachments a lot in Quicken, and the feature that I use frequently is adding an attachment from a scanner or clipboard. I noticed that MD only supports attachments from files, though I'd like to avoid this intermediate step of saving something to a file, attaching and deleting the file. Would you consider adding a feature similar to Quicken?

Another attachment option that I use is per-account attachments, not tied to a transaction, but to a particular date, e.g. attaching account statements. Something similar would be nice to have in MD too.

Thanks,
Andy

Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Thanks for the suggestion for improving Moneydance! There's an existing ticket in our ticketing system with your suggestion, so I've attached it to this discussion and the developers will be looking into it.

    Hi Andy,

Saw your comment over on the Quicken Community Forum issue with NetBenefits download. I made the jump to MD over 5 years ago. Never looked back. It is a very, very helpful forum, unlike Q. Ask anything, somebody, somewhere will be willing to try to help. And oh, by the way, the NetBenefits accounts download without issue.
