Just another user here. I'm curious, are you talking about the normal MD budget editor that shows the category along with three months at a time? That seems to always show the category. I also have created a monthly budget extension available on Github that shows the category plus all 12 months but that also should always show the category unless you have a really small screen. Not sure about some of the other available extensions. What exactly are you using?

I don't think there is a way.

jerrytag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/584651822023-04-03T20:00:59Z2023-04-04T07:52:21ZMonthly Budget

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for your reply, I should have mentioned it was the budget report screen that I was asking about.

When I have the page set to view weekly for a particular month there is a need to scroll across to view all weeks, this also is the same if you are viewing all the months in a particular year.
I thought it would be a good idea to have the category column fixed when scrolling across. Maybe if others voted for this it could be considered in a future version release.

Just to clarify, are we talking about the standard Moneydance budget report or about my Monthly Budget Report extension? If mine, I'll add a enhancement request to look into that.

I hope I understand you correctly in your reply! It must be the standard Moneydance budget report as this is the only one I can not see. I have looked in the extension manager and there isn't any extension listed as Monthly Budget Report or am I getting something wrong.

Once again, thanks for your support.

Yes it sounds like you are using the standard report. Mine has not been accepted as an official extension yet so it has to be installed from github. Hopefully one of the official MD folks will comment on a possible enhancement. I do have the same opportunity for improvement on my extension and I'll add a enhancement request for that.
