Would love to see you develop a Quickbooks Killer App for Mac at least! After all, who doesn't hate Intuits' predatory subscription only Model, for starters? One of my clients recently needed to replace her iMac with a current model. She has been using Quicken 2007 for over 20 years! Even the Company Intuit sold Quicken for Mac to, had no solution for her! Can you imagine that non-sense?! So, I suggested she check out Moneydance, I've known about it fior years via my Apple Consultants Network Membership (which I let expire due to their regressive policies). She did, and after checking in with your support folks, they guided her to export out the compatible file type that she was then able to import into her NON SUBSCRIPTION MD purchase !! Total WIN WIN.

Now, if you could do the same for an equivalent App to replace QB, that would be a KILLER App that would make a ton of Money !!! I just need to be able to export out a QB Windows file for my Accountant once a YEAR.

Miserable Intuit would not let me register a 2019 QB Desktop Physical Legit product I bought off eBay for almost $300, even though it was a legit never before used License !! Sorry we no longer support that Version was the B.S. I got VIA phone support, and no pleading to escalate to any higher level got me any traction. Guess how I feel about Intuit these days?!!!

The big issue with Quickbooks is there is no transition path (deliberately), not even the QIF path for the personal product, which isn't the best.

Any effort to create a "Quickbooks killer app" would require users to start from scratch, which isn't going to happen for most businesses. Intuit has locked their users in.

Well, given people’s dislike of Intuit, and given the right marketing, and timing for a fresh start at first of year, there might be a way. Files would have to be readable Mac to Win, and the same kind of functionality that accountants could get their heads around…which is not an area I have expertise in, else I’d do my own taxes, but never with an Intuit Product, they just suck to be honest.
