Latest Security Price Report
Given the recent breakage of automatic quote loader, I have a suggestion for a report. I currently can't find any way of doing this cleanly and properly.
What I would like to have is a report that lists all of my active securities, alphabetically where each line contains:
Security,
Associated Symbol
Last Security Price and date
Value currency
with optional total number of units and value
Please note that the Last Security Price and date should reflect the most recent price and date as would be found by showing the security history.
I think such a report would be most useful when we suddenly find ourselves in the situation that Yahoo has broken their security price downloads and we have to change our pickup to another server..

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi DrgnMastr
Stuarts extension EXTRA DATA – StockGlance Provides all the Data you asked for and more, except the Date of the displayed price.
Have fun, Stay Safe.

Thank you, Derek.
For follow-on readers, the extension is "Extract Data: Show StockGlance 2020". If it had the last price update column with it, that would be marvellous, for sure.
As is, though, it serves the purpose perfectly fine for getting a succinct list of my securities and funds to convert to a different quote source for automatic quote updates.

FYI - I have just updated my extract_data extension - option: Extract Account Balances... to extract some extra pricing data.. E.g. the hidden "price_date", last price dated date, flags to indicate if date(s) and price(s) differ (only when running using auto current date.. These fields are for diagnosing pricing issues....

I have also added a new report to toolbox to quickly validate pricing data.

That validate pricing data is one marvellous consistency checker. I have been using it regularly. Thank you, Stuart!!

And now you can also just run a price report as well as the validation report, both in toolbox.
Toolbox 🧰 +1 😃
ED +1 😃

Both Toolbox and Extract Data are powerful extensions. They both have proven to be invaluable for me. I had 25 years of data to bring inline and make consistent, including 10 years of data that came from the original quicken import. THANK YOU, Stuart!
