Suggestion for iPad App
It would really be nice (I mean REALLLY nice) if the iPad app for Moneydance would be similar to the laptop/desktop version of the software. The whole reason I use my iPad is so I can do everything I can on my laptop while I'm at trade shows. This would include money transactions. It seems to be just lacking really the Home screen that has everything laid out with totals. That would be a huge bonus to have!!!

One of the long terms plans is for the Moneydance Mobile app to become more capable, much like the desktop application. Tablet computers is one of the driving forces for this.
It is not a trivial task however, the language used for the desktop application historically is not and will not be supported on mobile devices and it makes sense if it can use the same code base.
What has been one of the things happening with Moneydance 2023 and 2024 is the porting of the code to a language that is supported on all platforms that Moneydance uses including IOS and Android.
So work is underway, it will never quite have the same capabilities but the goal is to get close. There is no ETA for this, it is a lot of work.
