Improvement in investment accounts- sub-accounts for ROTH
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to manage ROTH/Pre-tax splits within my 401k investment account. It doesn't seem like I'm able to create sub-accounts for Investment accounts. If I create completely separate investment accounts- then I won't be able to sync transactions and see overall account balance.

You can't create subaccounts for Investment accounts because basically all Securities are technically subaccounts for them.

The way I managed this was to duplicate the security, and prefix them on which is the pre-tax and which is the Roth. It creates a bit of work, but ultimately when I sell any one of them, I am going to need to be able to record transactions for them separately anyway.
