Entering Reminders
When I enter over 50 transactional reminders at the beginning of each month, I highlight the entry which opens a new box and then I have to point my mouse to the highlighted instruction of 'enter transaction' and click to enter. As the instruction in the dialog box is already highlighted why can't I just hit 'enter' to affect the command? This feature used to be there and then was changed on one of the updates. This has added considerable time and frustration to my monthly routine. Please restore this feature. Many thanks.

2024-1202 I am another user.....Suggestions-....
1. Download and read the latest Guide for Moneydance (2014?)-basics are all the same. . Sounds like you need overall information of the functions of Moneydance too.
2. Reminders....You can highlight (right-click) on a completed transaction and select "Reminder" to set it up as an auto-entry reminder for that account & edit the information for the repeated transactions......
or go to the menu,,,,, "Reminders" select which account you wan the auto-reminder for, then enter all data for that transaction you wish to have repeated automatically (month-week, etc.). You can enter....the account, Payee, for/description, the day of month, the recurring time period (week, month, year, etc), date of entry in register or repeated every 30-60-90 days in advance, for planning. The memorized transaction is then automatically entered into that accounts register as setup for that day and any days in advance you setup (planning). As with any transaction, you can edit/delete/change and confirm it, then later reconcile it to your bank statement (Accounts Manu). the Memorized transaction will continue on as setup even if you change it in your register. Once a memorized transaction is entered in the register it stays as a recorded transaction, unless you change or delete it from the register.
Hope this provides som insight for "Reminders" I use them a lot, especially, for advance notice of the EFT reoccurring payments to my accounts.

I hate to disagree with your advice but I think Marios is right. In most applications, if a dialogue box is highlighted then hitting enter confirms it. In this case it does not. Your suggestion does not seem to address this issue unless I am mistaken?

Thank you tonyt. I'm glad to see that someone understands what I am trying to say here. Moneydance clearly do not.
This situation is made worse by the fact that in older versions of the program the facility was available. When "Record Transaction" was highlighted, I could just press the "enter" key and it would record the transaction. Now it does not and I just don't understand why and how removing that facility has improved the program.
It seems that we may not get an answer or the facility restored.
