Duplicate Reminders
At the moment there is no easy way to create a new Reminder when it's 95% like an existing Reminder (for example, everything the same except for the description, or account). You must start from a blank Reminder and re-enter everything manually.
There is not even an easy way to re-enter fields manually as two Reminders can't be displayed at the same time, so it's impossible to Copy /Paste field content between them.
My suggestion is to add a "Duplicate Option" when you right-click a Reminder. This would create a new identical Reminder that could then be edited. At the moment there is a Copy option which does nothing other than copy the Reminder Description text.

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Paul.
This may work for you.
If a Transaction Reminder you want to duplicate has already been entered into an Account register, highlight that existing transaction and right click. Select CREATE REMINDER FROM TRANSACTION and edit the contents of the window that opens.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for replying. I'm creating future Reminders that have no past transactions so that feature doesn't help.

just a user,
If using window 10 and you simply want to view an existing reminder to assist creating a new one, just use the win 10 screen snip feature. Open the old reminder where you can review the config info, left click the far right corner win 10 screen icon and choose screen snip. Now lasso the portion of the screen image with your mouse that you want to review, release the mouse button, click the resulting screen popup and now you have a copy of that image which you can save, print, view, whatever.

Yes, I was forced to do screenshots too. A clunky solution that still forces you to retype everything.
You can duplicate transactions; you should be able to duplicate reminders.

There is a right-click menu item in the Reminders list that says Copy... but I do not see a way to paste it afterward.

just a user,
You could also just use the "Create Reminder for Transaction" by right clicking a transaction in a register that you would like to copy. Then after you create the new reminder simply edit the details as needed.

This issue is about being able to duplicate reminders when you are initially setting them up. That is, when there are no existing transactions. I added a lot of almost identical ones recently.
Even when there are existing transactions you still have to manually enter frequency, start date and possibly a more meaningful description, and must jump in and out of transaction and reminder screens to find the transaction and convert it.
The idea is to have the same Duplicate functionality that already exists for transactions, within reminders.
Setting up a lot of new (almost identical) reminders is a very tedious, error-prone, time consuming process without the Duplicate option.

I support the idea for a Duplicating Function for existing Reminders by introducing a Duplicate Function Button. I have Reminders whereby the amounts change over time and I would like to see these auto entered when the change becomes active into the associated register to support better Forecasting.
Thank You

I, too, am in favor of adding a "Duplicate" function on the right-click menu for reminders. There are several instances where this feature would come in handy, like adding quarterly reminders to make estimated tax payments, etc. Thanks!
