Enable a way to remove multiple items from the sidebar
I like to see in the sidebar the items I use regularly, so I usually remove many of the reports. But sometimes the reports I have removed re-appear on the sidebar again, and then I have to go again through the list, right-clicking each one to remove them.
My suggestion: it would be super helpful if there is a faster way to remove sidebar items. One way can be adding a tab on the preferences window (like the one to setup the Home Page) or adding a shortcut key to remove items.

Hi Miguel,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
When you are running Moneydance 2024.4 (5253), you can navigate to Tool->Graphs and Reports->Memorized reports.
Removing from Memorized Reports via Tools → Graphs and Reports → Memorized Reports, then selecting and removing a report, will delete it entirely from your saved reports list. After restarting Moneydance, it will also disappear from the sidebar if it was pinned there.
Removing from the Sidebar by right-clicking a report and selecting "Remove from the side bar" only unpins it from the sidebar. The report itself remains intact and accessible from the Memorized Reports window.
This distinction is helpful if you want to clean up your sidebar without losing access to frequently used reports, or if you want to permanently delete a report you no longer need
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. I am aware of the mentioned options to edit the sidebar; my message was more a suggestion than a question. The point is that items have to be removed one by one and each one requires 2 mouse clicks. The suggestion is to offer a method to remove many items at a time.
Cordially,
Miguel Mulero

Wouldn't you have to do at least one mouse click per item (assuming non-contiguous items) and a pre-select (remove multiple items choice) and a (now remove) click?
So rather than 2n clicks to remove n items, you'd still have n+2 clicks? I doubt for how many times that would be necessary to do for users, to save n-2 clicks each time versus how long it takes to do a click, that it is worth MD/IKs efforts to implement this versus the many other items that need improvement.
Just my opinion. I am also a user, not MD/IK.

If anything, "the reports removed reappear again" is the issue that should be addressed overall.
