Hot Key to go to Today's Date
Greetings,
Request you add a hotkey that we can use to jump to today's date in the register.
Thank you,
Wayne

Hmm, when you go to the register you start at the top, which should be the most recent? Can you describe your scenario and what happens? If you really mean jump to the first txn with today's date, what should it do when there are no txns for today?
Or do you mean when you enter that the date starts on today? For this you press t in the date field.

So, my setup includes reminders projected out 365 days, showing 30 days of register activity and sorted by Cleared Transactions. In that setup when I first open the register I'm 30 days in the past at the top of the register or, if I've searched for something and then cleared the filter it puts me at the end of the register, 365 days in the future. For those times it would be great to have a CTRL-G or something to snap me back to today's date. Hate to bring it up here because I really don't like their product and don't use it, but this is how QuickBooks does it.
However, based on your question I just figured out I can set my view filter to just one day in the past and the register opens with only a few transactions in the past. So maybe that's my work around. If I'm the only one that requested this you obviously can't pursue a change.
I do appreciate the quick reply.
Thank you very much,
Wayne
