Register Button Placement Suggestion
Currently the register screen has the Download, Showing: All Transactions, New Transaction buttons spread across the entire top of the register (left side, middle, right side). For ease of use it would be nice the have all three buttons located on the left edge of the register so it is much less moving the mouse to select a button.
That is it for the suggestion.

Hello, and thank you for the suggestion. I'll consider this request, but I'm not sure if it actually allows for less mouse movement, as the mouse cursor isn't necessarily going to be coming from the top left corner of the register. The buttons also all perform actions that are unrelated to each other, so I feel like it would be crowding the buttons into a single location that doesn't have a logical association.
I admit it isn't obvious that the Download and New Transaction buttons have associated keystrokes (⌘D and ⌘N on mac, and control-D and control-N on windows and linux). Perhaps that will help make it easier to perform these commonly used actions without needing to use the mouse at all?

Sean, You make a good point about crowding. The main reason I suggested it is the New Transaction button is to the far right, but a new transaction starts to the far left. So, there is unnecessary movement going from the right side of the screen to the left side to start to type.
Would you consider placing the New Transaction button on left side so it is more in line with adding a transaction.
