I think it would be awesome if Moneydance had a web interface. It would have to be secured, MFA, etc. It would have to be able to sync against whatever the desktop versions used., The advantage I see is being able to access banking while traveleling for entering receipts.

The Infinite Kind have stated that they have no desire or intention of hosting a server that contains people's data. Syncing to portable devices is their solution for on the go transaction entry and travelling.

They wouldn't need to host the data. It could be hosted on one of the locations, like dropbox, that moneydance supports. The web app would just need to have access to it. It could be stored encrypted, with the decryption password entered by the user.

    I concur with r.j's comment.
The feature request (or user story if you will) is 'I would like to access moneydance via a web browser.'.
This feature request overlaps with the request 'I would like a full featured mobile & tablet client'.
It does not specify a requirement for a technical solution like "TIK should offer a hosted version of Moneydance".

Those are all three separate things.
