filter options for register display
I wish that there was a filter option to display a way to display 30 days in the past and 30 days in the future in the check registry. Configurable would be even better. I have entries that are months out that I don't need to see till they are less than 30 days out.

There is…

You can change the default 60 days in custom filter to whatever you want.

The custom filter seems to only apply to the past. I want to filter the view to a window of 60 days around the current date.

Hi r.j.rizzuto
If the future transaction are coming from Transition Reminders then you can set each transaction reminder to Auto-commit as many days before scheduled and thus only appear in the register that many days in advance.
Hope this helps.

I have MANY transaction reminders, all set to auto-enter 30 days in advance. I also have manually entered transaction through the end of the year. I would like the filter option I proposed so I can filter out the latter till they are only 30 days away.

Hi r.j.rizzuto
You could use the Transaction Reminder to entered transactions through the end of the year. For each set the relevant, same first and last date, with auto-commit set to 30 days.

That's a great idea, thanks! I have converted them, and that is much better any way since they DO repeat, albeit quarterly or annually.
