Extract data extension

Here is a question for Stuart who kindly writes all the extensions that make mdance so much more usable. Re the above…
When I extract data and import into numbers, I don't have excel and macros, I am left with loads of columns I don't want and have to go through one by one deleting and ordering the ones that are left. It's obviously doable, but a real chore as I extract data all the time for various reasons.
I was wondering if..
A. It is possible to do?
B. It would not be too complicated?
C. It would be something you would be prepared todo?
That is, on the extract data screen somewhere have a set of radio buttons / check boxes that show all available fields in the export, and by checking some, have only those elements of data exported. I hope that makes sense. I fully understand if it is too much work / impossible. i am just trying to male my workflow easier.
