Remembered Payees
When entering a new transaction, in particular in a credit card account, typing the first few characters of the payee in the description field will only bring up suggested past payees that have been used in that particular account.
I would like the suggested past payees to be from ANY account. So if I normally use my VISA card to make purchases from J C Smith & Co, and then one day I use my MASTERCARD to make a purchase from J C Smith & Co, Moneydance should suggest J C Smith & Co as soon as I enter enough letters in the payee/description to identify the payee from my previous history.

I can definitely see how this would be a useful change, and there is an existing feature request ticket in our system for auto-complete which works across all accounts. The ticket is attached to this discussion. By posting in this discussion your interest in the ticket has been registered. This is equivalent to voting for it, and you'll automatically be notified when we have updates.
