Is Moneydance looking into an easy interface setup to the NEAT Company receipt scanning and organization software? This would have a huge impact to the amount of time spent in front of the computer doing finances...
Is Moneydance pursuing any kind of Investment Property (rentals) management software to be integrated with their finance management software?

We haven't looked into NEAT Company receipt scanning. I'll pass he recommendation onto the developers.
Moneydance specifically targetspersonal finance management as apposed to business management. It might be that rental property management is on the edge of being outside the scope of this software. You might find that using tags to associate transactions and then running a transaction report filtered by tag is sufficient for your rental management needs. However I have created a suggestion ticket for such functionality. Here is the link to the ticket:
