Adding 'on the fly'

I'd like to suggest the feature where accounts can be added 'on the fly'. I bought MD today and several times I've needed to stop what I was doing to add a new account (be it a liability or expense type) before I was able to return to what I was doing. If not in the middle of a split, then I understand it's possible to use the Tools menu. Many other accounting packages offer this facility: I was surprised yours doesn't.

I'd like to be able to add securities 'on the fly' while working in an investment account. Also, I'd like to be able to choose to have all my securities available to any investment account without having to link them to each account (e.g. for this to be done 'on the fly' too).
