Under USER PROFILE for this Forum I can set email preferences. The way this currently works, I receive an email for EVERY new post in topics that I am subscribed to.
On other forums that I use, users can set the frequency of the emails. Such as, instantly, hourly, daily, weekly.

For topics that are very active, we might receive many emails in a day. I suggest that when a user clicks on "SUBSCRIBE TO UPDATES" a drop-down list appears and a frequency must be selected. Different frequencies may be set for different topics.

This would reduce the number of emails flying around the world, saving time for users in deleting multiple emails - first thing each morning at least.

    Hi mcperry,

Thanks for the suggestion! I've contacted Tender (the makers of our forum software) asking them to implement this feature. We don't have any control over this, so I'm not sure if they'll decide to do it or how long it will take.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
