Is there any way of selecting a transactions to be view in the account screen to sort a certain date period? For example: 10/01/2009-10/31/2009 transactions or any combination, instead of having having several years worth of data come up in transaction list, or having several years archived and has to be reopened each time to search and view a transaction from a different year. There are several apps
that i've seen out there with this feature and it seems kinda standard. I have been a MD user since 2006, currently a beta tester for iphone app. and really don't want to switch to a different software for this much needed feature. See Finance & mini$(free) have this feature (screenshots attached) iBank also has this feature.

It is possible to view a group of transactions by date. If you initiate a search (using the binoculars icon in the upper right), you can specify a search for all transactions between certain dates. But that is not precisely the same function as what you are describing (to have the register itself only show transactions from a certain date range). Does this function accomplish your goal from this feature?

    Brian,

Thanks for your response. This function does help with searching for
entries, but not the result I was looking for.
Is it possible to be added to the future wish list of new features?
    Thanks

    Todd

    Todd,

It is too late for this to be added to the MD 2010 feature list. But it can certainly be added sometime after that. It is a very good suggestion. I will change the category of this discussion to "suggestions" and we will add it it our list of features to consider for future improvements.
